Let me start by introducing and defining key aspects of this topic for ease of understanding and assimilation by my global stream of readers.

Birland is Africa's newest and 55th country in the continent. It was founded by His Royal Majesty, King Dr. Emir Haiyawi on 15th May, 2015, which means its 10th anniversary would be due for marking and celebration on 15th May this year.

It is located in the Northern axis of Africa and laid on 2,060 hectares of landmass. By geographical location, it is laid between Sudan and Egypt.

The State of Birland is a virgin country with green opportunities. Its capital is named Bir Tawil. Even though, it is an emerging young nation, its landmass and population are drawn from 167 countries of the world.

Thus, comparatively, it is larger and bigger than the following 27 earlier existing countries namely Malta, Brunei, Singapore, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, The Holy See, Monaco.......

It is gratifying to note that Birland's top leadership has perfected it as the emerging "Dubai of Africa." It is acknowledged across the globe as the FIRST Humanitarian Country on the face of the earth.

The pair of words - Novel Approach indicate a unique style of getting things done well while achieving excellent and workable results. Global Peace means a situation where violence is absent in the entire universe. Global peace is an important tool of development and a solid anchor or attraction for investments in any clime.

Some pundits described it as the bait for guaranteeing unity amongst nations and for raising a symbiotic bond between nations. Diplomacy can be simply defined as the art or exercise of building a robust working relationship with other countries, through communication and extension of goodwill, with the intention of influencing events and policies in a given country, in furtherance of achieving targeted goals and advantages.

For example, Venezuela and China are two countries that have strong diplomatic ties with Nigeria through their massive support towards the development and improvement of basic education in Nigeria. There are three major types of diplomacy namely economic, public and cultural diplomacy.

By digression, diplomacy is umblically tied to foreign policy in the same way and manner that siamese twins are sealed together from birth. They are almost inseparable. The definition of two experts should suffice: K.J. Holsti defined foreign policy, which is a tool of diplomacy as "..... actions and ideas designed by policy makers to solve or promote changes in the international environment....." while Wolfran Handrieder defines it as "..... a coordinated strategy with which institutionally designated decision makers seek to manipulate the international environment...." The treatise of an expert on International Affairs and Diplomacy, Professor Steve Egbo, formerly of Abia State University, Uturu, and the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) is recommended for scholars seeking deeper insights into this field of study.

Birland has creatively devised a means of living peacefully with her neighbours and the citizens of other countries. Its liberal policy, laid on the win-win thrust, is unbeatable and enhances harmonious co-existence.

It prioritizes the issue of living in unity of diversity  and without segregation and discrimination. Birland does not believe in racial, social, religious, ethnic or continental segregation. Its policy and style of leadership are focused on promoting global synergy and friendship. Her aim is to reduce the world into an effective global village where everything works well and where the happiness of majority people in the universe are guaranteed.

This new country also promotes solidarity with all countries and extends goodwill to the leaders of different nations during their Independence Day  Celebrations, or National Day Celebrations, as some countries called it.

By emphasis, it expresses goodwill messages through congratulatory or felicitation advertorials declaring best wishes and prayers of a better future to the Presidents or Heads of State of different countries. Birland sustains its identity with the people of different countries also when they experience unfortunate circumstances or disasters whether it involves the loss of lives of their citizens, earthquakes or fire disasters.

The country operates an open-door policy and seasoned approach to its governance style. All her officials and cabinet members are first-class materials and quality specialists with records of international reputation and influence.

For example, a world-class technology icon, Professor Biodun Michael Ajibade and inventor of the first FUELLESS Generators in the globe, after his rigorous comparative studies, have applauded Birland's vision and resilience to capture the future in technological breakthrough with its full adoption of cutting edge and zero-end technology as an official policy. "With this approach to governance, Birland would surprise the world sooner than later", the tech savvy noted.

What are some of the peculiar diplomatic tools of the State of Birland? Take note that Birland is the first country to introduce a robust policy for the accommodation and well-being of stateless people, refugees, migrants and persecuted citizens from other countries.

It is also the first country to run 24-hour FREE medical services and free counselling and consultancy through its online Birland International Royal Hospital. This intervention, which has saved lives is headed by its Hon. Minister of Health, Dr. Pandit Mayukh.

Birland's pioneer non-discriminatory varsity called Birland International Royal University is the first tertiary institution in the world to offer FREE courses to the citizens of the world from the African continent as a deliberate strategy for promoting the acquisition of certified and quality knowledge while advancing a United and prosperous world. This programme is coordinated by its Hon. Minister for International Education, Professor Miguel Pinzon.

These are quite some memorable achievements. Yet, this new African country is not resting on its oars. The angle of extending humanitarian services to the world is of its priority policy. Birland takes special care of vulnerable citizens across the world, especially abandoned women (widows). These widows are regularly  empowered with foodstuff and cash for welfare as well as trained to acquire skills for self-reliant living while their children are offered scholarships. Under this scheme, the pressing needs of abandoned and neglected rural/difficult to access communities are also addressed.

Besides these interventions, Birland also supports the global conduct of technical workshops anchored on promoting uncommon passion for Thinking-Out-Of-Box and advancing global peace and sustainable development as well as for abating anger and promoting tolerance while enhancing global synergy and collective prosperity.

Not done, Birland's Prime Minister, Her Excellency, Queen Prof. Eden Soriano Trinidad, runs a private basic school in Philippines, where she charges reduced fees to enable children of indigent parentage acquire quality basic education. She carries out this intervention to support Birland's vision of accelerating the access to education for all and so that no child is left behind on account of poverty and thus enhance a better international community.

Again, the new country's Hon. Minister of Health, His Excellency, Dr. Pandit Mayukh, has conducted a few FREE medical outreaches with his dynamic team in India to announce the existence of Birland and prevent premature deaths that could have arisen from minor and presentable illnesses.

In all, Birland's exemplary diplomatic approach is quite novel and impactful. Indeed, it is in a class of its own.

Comparatively across the world, Birland boasts of the largest pool of qualitative manpower in all fields. Precisely, on Saturday, 1st March, 2025, l donated a Public Library at Koroduma in the Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria, in honour of the State of Birland. Discovered and founded on 15th May, 2015, by a Belgan development activist, His Royal Majesty, King Dr. Emir Haiyawi, the State of Birland, which is Africa's newest and 55th country, is the hottest news on the face of the earth. 

It is laid on 2,060 hectares of land between Sudan and Egypt, in the Northern axis. Birland is actually bigger than 27 other countries in the world.

An ambitious quest for knowledge and fun had propelled the founder to explore nature and cultural diversity using the tool of research for development. That anxiety led King Haiyawi to embark on an exploratory tour from Belgium to Africa so as to see new things, experiment new theories, learn more languages, and make some new friends.

Exploration through the bush paths became the most ideal approach and he adopted it after hitting the Egyptian Airport, hiring a power bike and a tour guide.

His appetite was boosted as he remembered Vasco Dagama, who discovered the Sea Route to West Indies and other successful and notable explorers of the ancient times. Prior to this trip, this European activist and friend to the European Union and European Parliament had only first visited Morocco in Africa during the marriage of his wife, Queen Hanane several decades past. This bond may attest to his love for Africa and her people.

Putting the first humanitarian country in the world on a speed track of full nationhood is not a day's job. It costs so much resources, energy, denials and perseverance.

Thus, the new country has evolved through many phases, through thick and thin with endless sacrifices and unique successes.

Its governance structure of executive monarchy with liberal exercise of powers confers the status of President on King Haiyawi. This model twin system of governance combines the beauty and ethical order of royalty with democratic values and grace on the founder.
